Hair restoration with ultrasound and stem cells or PRP (Off Label)

  1. What is Hair Restoration with Ultrasound and Stem Cells? Hair restoration with ultrasound and stem cells is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment that uses ultrasound technology and stem cells to stimulate hair growth and restore hair follicles.
  2. How Does it Work?
    1. *Ultrasound Technology*: Ultrasound energy is applied to the scalp to increase blood flow, reduce inflammation, and stimulate hair growth.
    2. *Stem Cell Therapy*: Stem cells are injected into the scalp to stimulate hair growth and restore hair follicles. Stem cells have the ability to differentiate into different cell types, including hair cells.
    3. *Growth Factors*: Growth factors, such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP), are used to stimulate hair growth and enhance the effects of stem cell therapy.
  3. Benefits of Hair Restoration with Ultrasound and Stem Cells:
    1. *Natural-Looking Results*: Hair growth is natural and gradual, with no visible scarring.
    2. *Minimally Invasive*: Treatment is non-surgical and non-invasive, with minimal discomfort.
    3. *Long-Lasting Results*: Results can last for several years, with maintenance treatments available to sustain hair growth.
    4. *Customizable*: Treatment can be tailored to individual needs and hair loss patterns.
  4. What to Expect During Treatment:
    1. *Initial Consultation*: A consultation with a qualified healthcare professional or dermatologist to discuss treatment options and determine candidacy.
    2. *Treatment Session*: Treatment sessions typically last 30-60 minutes, depending on the extent of hair loss.
    3. *Follow-Up Appointments*: Follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed.
  5. Cost of Hair Restoration with Ultrasound and Stem Cells: The cost of hair restoration with ultrasound and stem cells can vary depending on:
    1. *Location*: Treatment costs can vary depending on the location and the clinic or spa providing the treatment.
    2. *Number of Sessions*: The number of sessions required can impact the overall cost of treatment.
    3. *Stem Cell Quality*: The quality and source of stem cells used can affect the cost of treatment. On average, the cost of hair restoration with ultrasound and stem cells can range from: – *$1,000-$3,000 per session* – *$3,000-$10,000 for a full treatment package*
  6. Important Notes:
    1. *Candidacy*: Hair restoration with ultrasound and stem cells is not suitable for everyone, particularly those with advanced hair loss or certain medical conditions.
    2. *Realistic Expectations*: Results may vary, and it’s essential to have realistic expectations about the effectiveness.

I think we should clarify that yes, we want to cause necessary damage, but at micro-focused ultrasound with visualization ultrasound technology gives us the precision to cause Micro trauma at the exact depths 4.5- 3.0 and 1.5 , which triggers a healing response that promotes tissue repair and protein production.

While the Ferrer technique® aims to minimize pain and avoid unnecessary damage, we use the highest intensity and energy of micro-focused ultrasound with visualization during treatment to create maximum damage and trauma to achieve optimal results.

This approach also stimulates other biology body functions such as lymphatic drainage, oxygenation and blood flow, creating an ideal environment for tissue regeneration and encouraging fertile ground for follicular growth and development.

I’d like to add some context to our previous discussion. When I began my studies in 2023, focusing on the 1.5mm depth, I was aware of the significance of keratin in hair growth. To recap, keratin is a protein essential for hair strength and structure. Keratin is found at a depth of approximately 0.05-0.2mm in the epidermis, and its presence is also crucial at the dermal-epidermal junction (0.2-0.5mm deep) and within the hair follicle (2-5mm deep). Keratin reproduction occurs through mitosis, where keratinocytes in the basal layer of the epidermis divide into two daughter cells. As these cells mature and move upwards, they differentiate and specialize in producing keratin, which is then assembled into filaments that provide hair strength and rigidity. Also con you please and my middle name initial please.

We are using the highest intensity setting available on the Ultherapy® device that setting we use is the highest that each of the translators comes pre-programmed and that is the highest for each individual. While we cannot increase the intensity any further, lowering it would compromise the results. Therefore, we typically use this intensity for most patients (about 95%) unless they experience sensitivity or discomfort during treatment. As each individual is unique, we adjust the settings as needed to ensure optimal results and prioritize patient comfort and safety. Best regards.
